the rules
#1: Talk about dance class.
#2: Talk. About. Dance. Class. Seriously, tell your friends,
the more the merrier!
#3: Be present. Be AT your lesson. Be IN your lesson.
Focus on what's needed of you in the moment.
#4: Be on time. This shows respect for your teacher as well as your fellow dancers. Being late is disruptive.
Rather be early, especially if you have a payment or questions.
#5: Be prepared. The correct clothes, shoes, etc.
Calls of nature to be answered BEFORE the lesson starts.
Waterbottles to be at hand.
#6: DO.NOT.DISRUPT. Not your own class, and especially not someone else's class.
Not only is this disrespectful, but lessons cost money. Disruptive students will be removed from class.
#7: Be supportive. We all learn at a different pace,
with different strengths. The lad who can't do the splits today? Tomorrow he's going to be the one spinning like a top.
Learn from EVERYBODY- some will teach you what to do, others what not to do.
#8: No eating during class. ABSOLUTELY NO GUM. EVER.
#9: Have fun and do your best!
